About Me
I began my broadcasting career in 2001 as a production assistant, assistant program director and morning show co-host. In early 2016, I launched Wake Up Call w/Mike Hendren, a 2-hour live program that aired from 6am to 8am central on our local news and talk station in Wichita Falls. Production of that program concluded on February 1, 2024.
Over the years, I produced, hosted and co-hosted over a dozen programs, covering topics from local and regional news, economics, politics and sports. During my tenure in radio, I also worked as an advertising sales associate, applying my knowledge in marketing to that side of the business, as well.
I launched Hendren Media Solutions in early 2020, and the main focus of the company is now media production, creation and consultation. I also offer marketing and creative consultation services to a variety of other industries, as well.
